Mr. Mumphrey joined the firm in 2005. He has 20 years of professional experience in the areas of project management, strategic planning, analysis, architectural visualization, visual display of quantitative information, and graphic design. He is a graduate of the A.B. Freeman School of Business at Tulane University where he earned a Master of Business Administration with a concentration in Finance.

Mr. Mumphrey oversees a variety of core operational tasks at TMG including strategic direction, project management, financial oversight, and IT administration. His primary work for clients draws upon business experience and acumen as well as expertise in visual design. For TMG’s gaming clients, Mr. Mumphrey has worked on market assessments for private casino developers and operators in local markets, and he has collaborated on a wide range of analyses. He has provided expert testimony and analytical assistance for feasibility, economic analysis, tourism analysis, and financial modeling to casino developers for their successful efforts to obtain casino licenses. He has directed the creation of an array of output materials for TMG’s socioeconomic impact analyses and feasibility studies.

Mr. Mumphrey has created architectural visualization imagery including conceptual mock-ups and flyover videos for the Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport. He has provided his expertise on information graphics and visual display of quantitative information for an array of deliverables for the Airport and a variety of public and private sector clients. Recently, Mr. Mumphrey led work on a Management Structure Advisory Study for the New Orleans Regional Transit Authority. This work included a comprehensive industry study of best practices and strategic recommendations for the RTA Board of Commissioners.

Additionally, Mr. Mumphrey manages TMG’s marketing and advertising initiatives and coordinates production of the firm’s printed and digital promotional materials, including the TMG corporate identity and branding collateral. He has a wealth of experience serving as project manager, leading teams of professionals on projects with the goal of maximizing value for the client creatively, on time, and with optimal efficiency. His approaches to scheduling, resource allocation, coordination with partner firms and sub-contractors, task tracking, and quality control for final deliverables ensure that results surpass client expectations.

Prior to joining TMG Consulting, Mr. Mumphrey worked in Tokyo as an art director and graphic designer for technology startup companies Tokyo Now Online, ImaHima, and DreamArts—the latter of which grew from a venture initiative into an established technology corporation during his time there. He was responsible for hiring, managing, and providing art direction for teams of designers, and he established conceptual and aesthetic approaches and software workflows. During this phase of his career, his efforts ranged from web and smartphone app interface design to information architecture, content development, and strategic planning. He also led research and development initiatives, planned functionality for social networking sites, and supervised the creation of 3D content for phone apps.

Mr. Mumphrey is fluent in Japanese and has worked as a translator for clients including Microsoft, Tokyo University, BanDai, and Epson.
