PURPOSE:
To assist your Airport in developing an evaluation and selection process that will be in compliance
with the requirements of FAA’s Airport Improvement Program. As airport sponsors develop
their Capital Improvement Programs, funding through the Airport Improvement Program
is likely. To ensure consultant fee eligibility, a specified process must be followed.
INPUT & INFORMATION NEEDED:
Provided by Client:
1. Copy of latest Capital Improvement Program
2. Project descriptions
3. Summary of the existing process for the procurement of professional services
Provided by TMG:
1. Summary of evaluation and selection process as required by FAA guidance
2. Request for Qualifications, evaluation matrix and scoring formats
3. List of potential respondents

OUTPUT & PRODUCT:
1. A summary report and policy document outlining the revised selection and evaluation process for the procurement of professional services, in accordance with FAA guidance.
2. Request for Qualifications document for required services
3. List of contacts to send the Request for Qualifications document. TMG will draft and prepare official journal and other newspaper advertisements.
4. Evaluation matrix for responses to the Request for Qualifications
5. Summary Report of the Responses to the Request for Qualifications
USES:
1. Compliance with Airport Improvement Program guidance to qualify for federal funding.
2. Increase pool of potential respondents to Requests for Qualifications
3. Ensure selection process withstands public scrutiny
